Renae Schaeffer was recognized with the 2025 Belle Fourche Economic Development Legacy Award. She recently retired from the board after serving from 2009-2024. She was one of the 13 signers on the documents for the newly formed Belle Fourche Development Corporation (BFDC) when it became a stand-alone organization in order to put more focus and emphasis on community and business development. Her commitment to the work of the organization was instrumental in its growth and success. Congratulations, Renae!
